Welcome to The Arts Society Macclesfield

We are a member of The Arts Society, whose aims and objectives are the advancement of arts education and appreciation and the preservation of our artistic heritage.

We hold monthly lectures by expert speakers from September to June at the Methodist Church in Macclesfield.  These are supplemented by our monthly Arts Cinema Club,excursions and social events. Our Arts Volunteering programme raises money to support the Arts in our community for example: donating funds to provide art materials for patients at East Cheshire Hospice. 

The national Arts Society has a full programme of lectures and provides links to a wide variety of other cultural offerings.
